1. General Question
  1. Why should I create an Unlok account
    We are an exclusive content platform unlike any you have seen before, in Unlok you not only share your exclusive content, but we also have our biggest advantage, UnlokPlus, which gives you the possibility to charge for 100% of the content you upload, what other platform does that for you?
  2. How do I make an account as a creator
    The first step to open your account as a content creator is to go to Unlok.me, select “Register as a creator,” fill out all the required information, and follow the steps.
  3. How can I cancel my account
    To cancel your account you must connect to our LiveChat customer support team and make the request. You can connect to our LiveChat from inside the platform on the menu to the left select “Customer Service”from the options.
  4. Why was my account or content rejected
    If we reject your registration request it is because the Instagram account you associated does not meet our minimum number of followers (2,000 followers) you must try again when your account has more than 2,000 followers. Now, if it was content that was rejected it means that your content violated one or more of our rules, if this is the case you will receive a notification by email so you can rectify it immediately.
  5. How do I upload content
    In your account you will find a menu option on the left. Go to Menu, select Feed, click on the +, and proceed to upload the content of your choice.
  6. What kind of content can I upload
    Any content that you have not previously posted in your social networks and where you are the protagonist.
  7. What is allowed and not allowed when I upload content
    It is not allowed to upload content in low quality, that you have published in other social networks, content that includes another person (unless the other person has an account confirmed in Unlok and is correctly labeled in the publication), or content that includes: Minors, inappropriate interaction with animals, blood, sharp or firearms, and/or illegal substances.
  8. What are the best ways to start off my account well
    We recommend uploading 20 posts and making use of most of the available tools (Stories, Reels, UnlokPlus).
  9. How many credits (price) do I get to start with
    10 USD
  10. What are some of the best tips to increase your content in Unlok
    Promote your profile in your social networks, upload content constantly, use all the tools available, and enjoy what you do.
  11. How much content should I upload every period on Unlok
    We recommend 3 posts per week.
  12. What do I do if I have lost/forgotten my Username and/or Password
    Contact customer service through the platform.
  13. How can I deal with abuse or conflicts on Unlok
    Tell your subscribers what you like, express respectfully what you are willing to do, make it clear.
  14. How can I block a user if they are being violent or using words that are not allowed
    Within the platform you find the option to block users.
2. Payments
  1. General payment information

    Payments for Unlok.me are sent twice a month. The bimonthly payment periods are the 1st through the 15th and 16th through the end of the month, of each month. In order to receive your payment, you must comply with the following requirements:

    a. Minimum Monthly Content (MMC).

    o Upload a minimum of 3 pieces of approved content before the 9th or 24th at midnight

    o NOTE: between the 10th and 15th or the 25th and end of month, we do not accept any change of payment method nor release payment through MMC.

    b. Lowest Payout Limit (LPL).

    o You must earn the payout limit of 20 USD.

    o NOTE: earnings are affected by refunds requested by Users.

    If you meet the requirements mentioned above, you will be eligible to receive your payment.

    When are Payments made?

    Payments are made on a scheduled basis. As mentioned, there are two payment periods for each.

    a. Period 1 (P1) – 1st through 15th of each month.

    b. Period 2 (P2) – 16th though the end of each month.

    Each period has a corresponding payment date range.

    a. Period 1 (P1) – 1st through 5th of the next month.

    b. Period 2 (P2) – 16th through 20th of the next month.

    This means Creators will receive payment between 15 and 20 days after the payment period has closed.

    What happens if I don’t reach the MMC or LPL requirement(s)?

    If you do not reach the payment requirements, your earnings are rolled over to the next period until you meet the requirements.

    Is there a refund period?

    Yes, for each payment period, there is an associate refund period. This means payments will be deducted from your qualifying LPL up to 10 days after the payment period closes.

    a. Period 1 (P1) – refunds can be deducted until the 25th.

    b. Period 2 (P2) – refunds can be deducted until the 10th.

    Will I get paid on time?

    Regardless of payment method you choose, we send payments promptly, ensuring payments are received by Creators in time.

    What are your payment methods?

    We offer several payment methods for our Creators. These include bank transfer and digital wallet payments. The digital wallets include Paxum and Directa24. Additionally, we use Directa24 to make bank transfers to LATAM countries, which also offers local digital wallet options (for example: in Colombia Directa24 provides for payment to your Nequi, DaviPlata, Baloto, and Su Red accounts). There are advantages associated with each method. However, there are some limitations depending on what country you will be receiving your payment.

    Bank transfer options available (via Directa24) to Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Venezuela.

    Also, bank transfer options are available in the United States.

    NOTE: all funds made by bank transfer are made in local currency, though they are generally sent in USD from UNLOK’s end. Currency exchanges are done automatically by Directa24.

    What information is needed to make bank transfers?

3. Security and privacy
  1. What do you do if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else
    Reset your password and report this to us through our Customer Service chat.
  2. Hiding my profile, is it possible
    You cannot hide your profile, but only your subscribers will be able to see your content.
  3. Subscribers report a “Page Unavailable” error when they visit my profile. What can I do
    Recommend they change their browser or use their browser in incognito mode.
  4. How can I change my password or other information associated with my account

  5. What does the watermark mean, and how does it work
    To protect your content from being used on other platforms or without your consent.
4. Tools
  1. What is UnlokPlus
    UnlokPlus is an advanced within the Unlok platform. In simple words, it is a gallery of exclusive content where you upload your most premium content. But the best part of this is that you earn 100% of what you charge for each photo or video you upload. With UnlokPlus you have a more direct and intimate contact with your followers.
  2. How do I use UnlokPlus
    When you are in your profile, go to the top right corner and click on the + that appears. Immediately you will have two content options, Media or Set; Media is a video or photo, while Set are several videos or photos. You have the freedom to choose here. Then, you put a creative and provocative title to your Media or Set and a description that gives a taste of what the users will find next… select the content you want to upload from the gallery of your device, and choose the price you are going to charge for this content. From here you can do two things: 1. upload it immediately and it will appear right away, or 2. schedule it to be uploaded later. If you schedule it to be uploaded later select the date and time you want it published. That’s it.
  3. What kind of content should I upload in UnlokPlus
    The most premium, highest quality content. Those fotos and videos you just know are amazing, should definitely go here.

  1. How do Reels work
    Reels are short videos that you can upload for your subscribers to see.
  2. How do Stories work
    Stories can be photos or short videos that you can upload so that you can constantly be in touch with your subscribers. It is lighter, fresher content.
  3. Why is it important to use Stories and Reels on your account
    The more content you upload to your account and the more tools you use means your subscribers will have more reasons to buy your content.
  4. Who can see my Stories and my Reels
    Your Stories can be seen by your subscribers, and your Reels can be seen by everyone.
  5. Are my Reels and Stories monetized
    The Stories are part of subscribed content.
  6. What are best practices and tips for using Stories and Reels on my account
    We recommend you upload fresh content: that lingerie you just bought, sunbathing on the beach with your favorite swimsuit, in any meeting in which you feel super sexy with your beautiful dress, we leave this to your imagination.

  1. How can I make more money promoting my account
    The best way to promote your account is to share your Unlok link on your social networks, especially adding the link to your profile (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc). Also within the platform there is the possibility to promote your profile: in the Functions tab you will find the option and you will be able to use this tool.

  7. How can I search for a specific creator on Unlok
    Inside the Menu on the left, there is a tab called Creators, clicking on it will bring up a search box.
3. Billing / Card Support
  1. How can I buy credits if I dont have a credit card/debit card
    The only way to acquire credits and/or subscriptions in Unlok is through the payment gateways Epoch or Directa24, the latter (depending on the country) offers payment by consignment in branches of different supermarket chains or money transfer providers.
  2. I tried to buy credits with a bank card but my transaction was declined. Why, what should I do
    The first thing to do is to verify if you have credit on the card with which you are trying to make the purchase. There is also the alternative of changing the browser and/or using the navigation in private mode. If after 15 minutes you cannot make the purchase, you should contact Customer service through Support.
  3. Why havent I received an email with the sales confirmation/receipt
    These emails no longer depend on the platform but on the payment gateway. So, if you have not received a confirmation email, you should contact them after 30 minutes to find out what happened to the purchase.
  4. The dates of the charges on my bank statement do not match my purchases; why, what should I do
    It is normal for this to happen because the server time of the payment processor may be different from the buyers time (GMT).

    For example, the buyer is in Colombia at 9:45 pm, but the server is in Lithuania at 5:45 am the next day.
  5. How can I check my Credits balance
    Once you are logged in, you can go to the Menu and then to Credits or on the cell phone to the credit card icon in the lower menu.

    If you match with another creator, all the free content of that creator and their updates will appear on your user wall.

    You click on the heart to indicate that you like, and click the X to reject.
5. VIP Functions
  1. How does the messenger work for creators
    Users can send you messages by subscribing to your profile, or by having previous interactions, through Tips or by purchasing content from UnlokPlus. Messages will not be charged, and users cannot send media content; neither photos nor videos, only text.

    A referral is a person or an agency that can bring content creators to Unlok.
